Flambeau Europlast Acquisition

Meta is pleased to announce the acquisition by Flambeau Europlast Limited (Flambeau) of Stadium Building Products (Stadium Building) and the Quest Baby Care (Quest) product lines.

Flambeau acquired Stadium Building and Quest from AIM-listed Stadium Group plc. Stadium Building manufactures plastic products for the consumer, building and construction, agriculture and equestrian markets. Quest is the leading UK manufacturer of infant care products for a range of blue chip UK retail clients.

Flambeau is based in Ramsgate, Kent. Stadium Building and Quest are currently manufactured in Chingford, London. Flambeau expects to integrate the operations and logistics for the two product lines into its Ramsgate facility over the next few months.

John Wingfield, managing director of Flambeau said, “This acquisition realises our desire to complement our existing trade moulding business with a focus on proprietary products in specific market sectors. We can develop our share in these markets through innovation and product development that in turn will maximize the efficiency of our manufacturing plant.”

Meta advised John and Flambeau on the strategic fit of the two businesses, together with deal structuring, negotiation and ongoing project management advice.
