Some of our work is immediate. In response to, perhaps, an incoming offer or a change in personal or commercial circumstances that make a transaction now viable. Other clients seek our advice over a longer period, dealing with the planning and development of a business towards an exit.

The experience of the Meta directors across hundreds of transactions guides the client directors through unfamiliar waters over years leading to the execution of the deal itself.

Our advice to the shareholders or the board covers a spectrum of activities, ranging from advice on timing and growth; through profitability maximisation; to planning for the information and presentation required for a successful due diligence process.  It is all delivered from experience of successful transactions and, yes, those that stumbled.

Whilst we bring our knowledge and background to bear, we know our limitations. And we are very happy to help plug gaps in management teams or introduce specialists that are critical to the deal. Might be tax accountants, management coaches, corporate lawyers, modelling gurus or overseas contacts. Or there might be no need. Either way, Meta is positioned to help the client develop a multi-year exit plan and then execute the transaction itself.
