Bidvest Fresh acquire Knight Meats

Meta Corporate Finance is delighted to announce a second transaction for Bidvest Fresh – the acquisition of premium quality catering butchers, Knight Meats.

Established in 1992, Knight Meats provides fresh meat, poultry and deli products to the professional kitchen sector, from a 8,000 sq ft unit in Essex. With Knight Meats on board, Bidvest Fresh increase their skill base in butchery and strengthen their ability to offer nationwide delivery of quality meat.

Chief Executive of Bidvest Fresh, Stephen Oswald, commented:

Bidvest Fresh’s specialist companies include local fishmongers, butchers, greengrocers and cheesemongers, all specializing in their field to supplying goods to the catering industry. Customers include both national and independent customers and range from Michelin-starred restaurants and boutique hotels to large hotel groups and contract caterers throughout UK and Ireland.
